Weight loss products recalled over reports of tampering

According to an online report published Friday, March 28, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is voluntarily recalling all its Alli weight loss products in the country following reports of tampering from seven U.S. states.

GSK has warned its consumers that some of the Alli packages might contain capsules that are not authentic. The company said authentic capsules contain the text ’60 Orlistat,’ and are colored turquoise blue with a dark-blue band.

Consumers are advised to discontinue using the tampered products and to report to GSK immediately for additional information.
