Susan Ament currently serves as a board member of the Delaware Bar Foundation, The Catholic Diocese Foundation and the Corporate Board of Catholic Ministry to the Elderly. She is a former board member of The Little Italy Neighborhood Association Phase II, and The University of Whist Club. She is past president of the Board of Directors of the Bayard House and an Honorary Member of the Philippine-American Association of Delaware (PAAD). Mrs. Ament is a Guardian Ad Litem through the Office of Child Advocate.
Mrs. Ament is a member of the St. Thomas More Society (President, 1994-1995), the Delaware State Bar Association (Nominating Committee 1999-2001; Fee Dispute Committee Chairperson, 1991-1994; and Medical/Legal Committee Co-Chair, 1989-1990), the American and Delaware Trial Lawyers' Associations, and is a Mediator for the State of Delaware Superior Court. She is a former member of the State of Delaware Board of Bar Examiners (1994-1997), State of Delaware Industrial Accident Board Rules Committee, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the National Health Lawyers Association.
Kevin Healy is a member of the Pastoral Council at St. Mary of the Assumption Church (Hockessin, Delaware); a Development Committee member of St. Paul School, Wilmington, DE; Thistleberry Farms, Newark, Delaware board member; Guardian Ad Litem of the Office of Child advocate; member of St. Thomas More Society; Delaware State Bar Association and American Bar Association; American Trial Lawyers Association; Delaware Trial Lawyers Association member; Secretary of the Board of Governors of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association. In 2004, Mr. Healy volunteered and successfully represented an injured survivor of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. Mr. Healy has been recognized in the News Journal's Best Lawyer section.
Francis J. (Pete) Jones, Jr. is a former law clerk to The Honorable John J. McNeilly, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of Delaware (1982-83). Mr. Jones is a member of the Delaware State and American Bar Associations. He is an associate member of the Defense Research Institute, Defense Counsel of Delaware and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and Delaware Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
He is a former Governor of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and a former Associate Member of the Delaware Board of Bar Examiners. He is presently an Associate Trustee of the Delaware Supreme Court's Client Security Trust Fund. Mr. Jones is a member of the Board of the Delaware Law Related Education Program and Chair of the High School Mock Trial Committee. He is also a member and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the National High School Mock Trial Program.
Mr. Jones has gained national exposure for his involvement in the High School Mock Trial Program. In 2005, he was honored by The Delaware Bar Association with the Community Service award. Mr. Jones has also been recognized by his peers in by being included in Delaware Today's Best Attorney.
The High School Mock Trial Program invites students to prepare to conduct a trial in court. Mr. Jones assures that students are assigned attorney coaches at their schools to mentor them through the process. The Program culminates in a mock trial, in an actual courtroom at the courthouse. Mr. Jones annually solicits approximately 250 members of the Delaware Bar to act as judges. The winners compete at a national competition. Delaware was chosen for the 2008 site of the national competition. Every year over approximately 500 high school students participate from all three counties in Delaware. Thanks to his efforts, numerous students whose legal interests were sparked in the program have gone on to graduate from many respected law schools.
Keith Donovan is a frequent speaker at Continuing Legal Education seminars in Delaware, on automobile insurance issues and trial techniques and strategies (given his vast experience on both sides of insurance law, defense and plaintiff). Over the past years, Mr. Donovan has also lectured to physicians on topics of interest regarding treatment and billing as it relates to the accident victims. Keith Donovan is often appointed by the court to represent indigent clients in Kent County. Recently, Mr. Donovan was invited by The Honorable Richard Stokes of The Superior Court of Delaware to teach new attorneys how to give a closing statement in court, because the judge was so impressed with Mr. Donovan's closing argument at a recent jury trial in Delaware.
Pete Jones and Keith Donovan are members of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization that has a requirement for membership of trying a significant number of cases to a jury. Pete Jones and Keith Donovan are frequently invited to be presenters at numerous seminars and schools.

The Morris James Personal Injury Group attorneys offer an annual Scholarship to High School seniors. Seniors throughout all three counties in Delaware are invited to write an essay. The 2006 topic was: "If you were Principal of your high school, describe what would you do to stop drunk driving?". The Morris James Personal Injury attorneys carefully read and evaluate all essays submitted and choose winners from each county. Each winner is presented with a Scholarship Award and plaque at their High School by one of our attorneys.
