When you enjoy what you do, you are not working at a job, you are fulfilling a passion. I feel so honored every day to have the opportunity to do what I love!

Overview

Having practiced law for over 36 years representing clients injured in serious motor vehicle accidents or on the job, I appreciate that my position affords me the opportunity to educate and help individuals who are facing serious life challenges at a difficult time. I’ve been a partner with the Morris James Personal Injury Group for 20 years, but have dedicated my entire career to protecting my clients and ensuring that they and their families are treated fairly and receive all insurance benefits to which they are entitled. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to develop personal relationships with my clients and help them navigate through the legal process.

Over the years, I have volunteered for various non-profit groups, and my church. I have been blessed with the education and skills that allow me to help others who are struggling. I am most thankful for the opportunity to help children, the elderly, and veterans, all of whom may be vulnerable and need assistance. For over 10 years now, I have volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem attorney in Family Court, representing children who are abandoned or abused. For the past 15 years, I have served on The Catholic Ministry to the Elderly, Inc., which oversees Marydale, a senior housing community. I am so happy to see the many services Marydale offers to their residents, and am honored to be on this board. I am past Chair of the Board of Sojourners’ Place. Its mission is to assist the homeless on their journey to self-sufficiency through a case-managed, residential program. It is so rewarding to hear the graduates (many of whom are veterans) speak of how the program helped them find their road to recovery, employment, and independent living.

Some people enjoy sports or hobbies…I enjoy helping others. This is why I am not working at a job, but I am fulfilling a passion. Every day I meet with clients who are seriously injured at work or in automobile accidents. Each client faces unique, challenging life situations because of the injuries they sustained in the accident. I believe I am able to ease their worries because if I accept their case, my clients know I will do all I can for them. What a great feeling to have the privilege to really help someone every day!
